GTA 6: Maze Bank — a Robinhood-style trading app
The latest rumor making the rounds in Vice City is that Rockstar may be giving players a new way to lose money in GTA 6: an in-game smartphone app called Maze Bank, a cheeky parody of Robinhood and other commission-free trading platforms.
If the whispers are true, Lucia, Jason, and anyone else with a stolen phone could buy and sell stocks between heists — turning the city’s criminal underworld into a literal stock market.
How Maze Bank might work in-game
Imagine pulling up Maze Bank during a loading screen or while hiding from the cops in a parking garage.
The app could let you trade shares in Rockstar’s long-running roster of fake companies — Cluckin' Bell, Pißwasser, Weazel News, and maybe even upstart Vice City brands we haven't seen yet.
A live ticker could scroll across the top of the screen, prices could spike or crash after story missions, and a badly timed "margin call" might leave you hustling for cash before the next big score.
- Buy and sell company stocks from the in-game phone.
- Watch a live ticker react to heists, missions, and world events.
- Tie portfolio performance into storylines — maybe a hostile takeover is a heist.
- Risk a "margin call" that sends you scrambling for quick cash.
GTA's history of brand satire
Rockstar has never been subtle about spoofing real-world brands. The series has already given us BAWSAQ and LCN stock exchanges, the Twitter knockoff Bleeter, the Facebook parody Life Invader, and countless fake billboards for companies like Sprunk and Logger Beer. Maze Bank would fit right in: a slick, gamified trading app that promises to make everyone a kingpin, one meme stock at a time.
What brand will GTA 6 spoof next?
If Maze Bank is real, the door is wide open for more modern-tech parodies. Could we see a Vice City rideshare app, a cryptocurrency exchange, or a short-form video platform filled with NPC influencers? Rockstar has decades of fake brands to draw from, and Vice City is the perfect place to skewer them all over again. Drop your best guesses in the replies — and remember, this is still a leak, so trade carefully.
